Returns Policy

Catalogue Items

Any catalogue item may be returned to Definite Style for any reason what so ever within 14 days from date of purchase provided the goods are returned in a saleable condition.
To ensure that the goods arrived intact, please ensure that you post the item to us in its original packaging. Definite Style takes no responsibility for goods that are returned but become lost or not delivered to us. To ensure that your return arrives safely, please use a registered postal service and send to:

Please include with your return; your name, address and your Reference/Invoice Number from the paperwork that accompanied your order. Also advise whether you require a refund, credit or a replacement. Refunds will be issued by cheque, credit card or gift certificate. Replacement items will be sent within 14 days unless the item has to be custom made, whereby you will be notified and given a delivery date or offered the choice of another replacement.

Custom Orders or Commissions

Some of the items on the Definite Style website are made to order. These items are marked in the site as “Custom Order” and include such items as rings made to sizes not carried in the designer’s standard range.
Unfortunately we cannot provide a refund for custom made goods, however if you are unhappy with any custom made products, we can arrange for you to display those products for resale on our website (free of charge) for a period of twenty eight (28) days. Any sale you make in this period will constitute your refund. Please note that in these circumstances, you will need to display your own contact details on our website and liaise with potential purchasers directly. We cannot accept payments, screen potential purchasers or arrange for sending of products on your behalf in these circumstances.


In some cases you will be able to have the items altered by the designer who made them. In this case we encourage you to contact us with your requirements. We will then forward your request to the designer who will provide a quotation to alter the work. Should you wish to accept this quotation we will then arrange for the designer to contact you directly to arrange the alteration.
