This casuarina pin reminds one of the order of Australia with its organic star structure. This particular pod was found and cast from the original stand of Casuarina trees on the shore line of Sydney Cove, now part of the Sydney Botanic gardens. It measures 10mm in diameter and is perfect as a tie pin, collar, or coat pin. Metal is 925 silver that has been antique finished.
