Samantha Mays

Lives and works in Newcastle, New South Wales.

Samantha has been a resident at the Pyrmont Jewellery Studios and has exhibited extensively there in both members' and tenants' shows. Exhibitions include Out of Site 2006, Confluence and The Vessel in 2005 and Takeaway in 2004. Other exhibition achievements include the 2004 National Contemporary Jewellery Award show at Griffith Regional Gallery, NSW, and a two-person show entitled Line held at the Pyrmont Studios Gallery in 2004.

Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts from Deakin University, Victoria, and an Advanced Diploma in Jewellery and Object Design, Design Centre, Sydney Institute. In addition she has managed the Pyrmont Studios Gallery and was instrumental in the success of many exhibitions held there from 2003 to 2006.
