Kylie Gartside
![]() Lives and works in Northern New South Wales. Kylie Gartside is a contemporary jeweller working from her studio in Northern New South Wales. Her practice includes bespoke commissions, limited editions and exhibition work. She has exhibited nationally and internationally in Japan and Singapore. In 2004 she won the national Memento Award for her "saltie" range of jewellery incorporating saltwater crocodile leather. Her work was exhibited in the Australian Embassy in Tokyo for Designers Week 2004 and then travelled to Singapore for Celebrate Australia. Gartside designs for individuals, corporations and most recently the Queensland Government. In 2006 she was awarded the Emerging Artists Mentorship by the Australia Council to work with Barbara Heath. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Art, majoring in Gold and Silversmithing at the Queensland College of Art. Want to see more work by Kylie Gartside?
