Jane Bowring

Lives and works in Sydney, New South Wales.

Jane has been a resident at the Pyrmont Jewellery Studios and has exhibited extensively at the Pyrmont Studios Gallery, in both members' and tenants' shows. Exhibitions include Out of Site, Confluence, and The Vessel. She has developed considerable expertise in the area of stamping, pressing and forming silver using the hydraulic press.

Jane holds a Bachelor of Applied Art from the University of South Australia and has spent time on exchange at the San Diego State University, California, USA. She is currently studying at the Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney.
