Nicola Bannerman

Lives and works in Sydney, New South Wales.

Nicola's work ranges from small wearables to objects and installations of industrial proportions. She draws inspiration from shapes, textures and rhythms in the natural world, especially recurring forms such as cocoons, waves, crystalline structures and spirals. Her interest is in the ornamentation of objects. She has exhibited extensively throughout Australia.

Nicola holds a Bachelor of Visual Art with Honours, Sydney College of the Arts, Sydney University, and Diplomas in Diamond Technology and Gemmology from the Gemmological Association of Australia. Nicola has also spent time working at Workshop 3000 in Melbourne.
